URBINO MINORE is a compact leather backpack for women with a practical 2-in-1 design. Made in Tuscany from soft Italian Lavata calf leather, it can be carried as a backpack, over one shoulder or by hand. Its compact format, flexible carrying options and vintage-inspired character make it a practical choice for everyday use, city life and leisure.

The interior is designed for personal belongings, smaller documents and a tablet of a suitable size. The main compartment closes with a rear zipper and stays close to the body when worn as a backpack. Lavata calf leather – soft with a natural vintage character

Lavata calf leather undergoes a special washing and finishing process after the bag has been sewn. The finished bag is washed in a drum, gently dried and then brushed by hand. This treatment gives the leather a soft, supple feel and a lightly wrinkled surface with a matte or semi-matte finish. Its subtly worn appearance is part of the material’s natural character and complements the vintage look. With use, the leather becomes softer and develops a natural patina.

Practical interior

The interior has a cotton lining, one zip pocket and two open compartments for organising smaller personal belongings. The compact format is suited to everyday essentials without the bulk of a larger backpack.

Your leather handbag or backpack is made from high-quality Italian leather, which is a noble and living material – over time, it develops a beautiful, natural patina. With a few simple and regular treatments, you can maintain its softness, shine, and unique appearance for many years.

  • Daily cleaning: Regularly remove dust with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth (preferably microfiber). Avoid ordinary cleaning agents and wet wipes, which can dry out the leather.
  • Nourishing and moisturizing: 2–3 times a year, apply a colorless nourishing cream or high-quality leather balm (we recommend products like Saphir Renovateur or similar). Gently massage the product in small circular motions to ensure good absorption and to refresh the velvety softness of the leather.
  • Protection from external factors: Avoid prolonged exposure of the bag to direct sunlight, which can dry out and discolor the leather. In case of rain or moisture, immediately wipe the bag with a clean cloth and allow it to dry naturally at room temperature, away from radiators and other heat sources.
  • Storage: Store the bag in a cotton dust bag, preferably flat or hung, in a dry, airy place, away from light. Avoid plastic bags, which prevent the leather from breathing.
